Crepes By: Ana, Elena, Evelyn
Ingridients:
Prep time: 15 mins
Cook time: 15 mins
- 2 cup flour
- 3 cups of milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon salt
- Nutella
- Bananas
- Strawberry
- Whipped Cream
SCIENCE BEHIND THE RECIPE
The difference in using pancake mix and the recipe that we’re making is that the recipe comes out to be a lot thinner than the pancake mix because the pancake mix has baking soda and other acid minerals that make the out come to to taste different and also a change in the texture . the baking soda makes the food puff up a lot more . the dairy products make the crepe mix stay together and food come out perfectly.Baking soda makes the pancakes rise with oxygen bubbles , but since the crepes recipe doesn't involve baking soda, there is no need for the crepe to inflate or expand. The only way the crepe gets big is because we have to swirl the mixture around the pan to make it coat
evenly.
